Description: Basidiomata marasmielloid, eccentrically (not laterally) stipitate, petaloid to somewhat everted, broadly spathulate, nearly semicircular to broadly reniform; pileus surface white and remaining so or mellowing to pallid ochrceous buff upon storage, with occasional radial dark streaks, matt, broadly sulcate outward but hardly striate, pileus flesh tough, white, very thin over lamellae decurrent, shallow, distant, in 2-3 ranks or forking dichotomously, white but mellowing to cream on drying, with common evidence of dark staining in radial streaks on and between lamellae. Stipe distinct and invariable, white, very tough, minutely hispid to minutely strigose. Basidia narrowly clavate, apparently adherent, clamped. Basidiospore ovate, smooth, thin-walled, inamyloid. Cheilocystidia and pleurocystidia non-emergent, clavate with subcapitate to bluntly tapered apex.
