Description:

Basidiomata marasmielloid, exxentrically (not laterally) stipitate, petaloid to somewhat everted. Pileus size 11-24 × 13-15 mm, broadly spathulate, nearly semicircular to broadly reniform, pileus surface white and remaining so or mellowing to pallid occhraceous buff upon storage, streaks, matt broadly sulcate outward but hardly striate; pileus flesh tough, white, very thin over lamellae decurrent, shallow, distant in 2-3 rank or forking dichotomously, white but mellowing to cream on drying. Stipe up to 2-2.5 × 0.3-0.5 mm distinct and invariable, white, very tough minutely hispid to minutely strigose. Basidiospores 5-6 × 2.5-3 μm, ovate, smooth, thin-walled, inamyloid. Basidia 12.5-24 × 3-6 μm, clavate to cylindrical, thin-walled, 4-spored, hyaline in 3% KOH, Sterigmata 0.5-1.5 μm long. Stipitipellis a trichoderm, hyphae 5-7.5 μm diam, hyaline, thick-walled, clamped, linear or branched, in rudimentary penicillus, stipe tramal hyphae monomitic, skeletalized, hyaline clamped, frequently branched, somewhat tortuous to sinuate, with common protuberances, hyphal branches 1) as presents, 2) gradually tapering to rounded tip.


Culture characteristics:

Spores germinated on PDA within 24 h. Colony was grown on PDA, off-white to cream, forming brownish zones, the advancing zone is white and appressed, margin slightly scalloped, aerial mycelium felty with hyphae cottony or matted.
