Unidentified dicotyledonous leaves.

Description:
Stromata lacking or obscure, mycelium hyaline covering the whole body of ant host. Perithecia superficial, arising from the head region ant host, separately, white to cream, flask shaped, 210-300 × 60-90 µm. Asci cylindrical, 112-200 × 2-3.5 µm. Ascospores hyaline, filiform, 200-275 × 0.5-1 µm, with septate.
Culture characteristics:
Colonies on PDA were fast growing, cottony, floccose, ca 25 mm diam in 10 d at 25 ºC, white, reverse cream. Conidiophores erect, arising from vegetative hyphae, gradually tapering towards the apex, without basal septa, always solitary and rather long and narrow, up to 20 µm, 0.5–1 µm wide. Conidia hyaline, smooth-walled, globose to ellipsoidal, 2–3 × 1.5–2.5 µm, produced in slimy heads.
