Description:
Basidiomes globose to subglobose 21–64 mm diameter, 10–20 mm height with basal rhizomorph, Brilliant Yellow. Peridium 0.8–1.5 mm thick when fresh, leathery, surface partially smooth with scattered, small and thin darkbrown to back scales, lemon-yellow tochrome-yellow. Gleba white when young become dark brown to back at maturity and pulverulent. Basidiospores globoseto subglobose with short spines, 5–7.5 μm diameter, yellowish brown to brown in water or KOH.
