Description:
Basidiocarp broadly effused, membranaceous, moist when fresh; fertile surface yellowish-white to light brown, up to 0.25 mm thick, loosely adnate and readily separable in small patches; surface smooth, continuous, not fissured. Subiculum byssoid, white. Margin abrupt or extending up to 2 mm, pruinose to farinaceous, very thin, irregular in outline, white. Hyphal system monomitic. Subiculum composed of a textura intricata; hyphae 4.5–6 µm diam., hyaline, thin-walled or with walls up to 1 µm thick, simple-septate, branching mostly at right angles; walls smooth near the substrate but often heavily encrusted with large hyaline crystals approaching the subhymenium.
