Leaf litter, soil.
Host:
On Schistocerca gregaria (Orthoptera), Coleoptera.
Culture characteristics:
Colonies on PDA medium attaining a diam of 45–48 mm in 14 d, flat, entire edge, white to pale yellow, turning moderate yellow-green to greyish olive green. Sporulation starts at 5 d after inoculation, reverse pale yellow. Conidiophores terminating in branches with 2–3
phialides per branch. Phialides cylindrical with semi-papillate apices, 5–15 × 2–3 μm.
Conidia smooth-walled, ellipsoidal to cylindrical with round apices, 6–8 × 2.5–3–3.5 μm.
