Holotype:
CHAINA, Guizhou.

Description:
Synnemata multiple, branched, 2–10 mm long and 1–3 mm broad, pale orange to orange, slender cylindrical, arising from host’s body. Fertile part white, 3–5 mm long, white,
conidia mass produced near the apex of synnemata. Conidiogenous cells isaria-like.
Phialides verticillate, in whorls of two–five, 4–8 × 2–3 μm, with globose to flask-shaped basal portion, distinct neck, 1–2 × 0.5–1 μm. Conidia in dry chains, white, mostly broadly ellipsoidal or slipper-shaped, aseptate, 2–5 × 1–2 μm.
Culture characteristics:
Colony on PDA attaining a diam of 30 mm in 14 d, consisting of cottony orange with high mycelium density, reverse orange.
Phialides arising from arial hyphae, solitary, or in whorls of two to five on each branch, 4–10 × 1.5–2.5 μm, with a globose to slightly flask-shaped basal portion, distinct neck, 0.5–2 × 0.5–1 μm.
