Description:

Basidiomata 16–51 × 16–45 mm, gelatinous, fleshy, soft, caespitose, imbricate, sessile to substipitate; coloration light orange to greyish-orange; pileus projecting up to 50 mm, 1–2 mm thick, discoid to auriculate; margin entire, brownish-orange when dried. Pileal surface sparsely pilose, azonate. Hymenophore conspicuously reticulate, orange-white to pale orange. Tissue anatomy. Thickness 1123–1380 µm when dry; medulla indistinct, more evident near the hymenium; crystalline deposits absent. Abhymenial hairs 45–60 × 6–8 µm, with slightly swollen base or median region, thick-walled, with wide or narrow septate lumen; apices acute or obtuse, solitary, hyaline. Hyphae 2–4 µm diam., hyaline, with clamp connections. Hymenial elements. Basidia 40–50 × 4–4.5 µm, clavate, transversely 3-septate, containing oil guttules. Cystidioles absent. Basidiospores 9–12.5 × 4–6 µm, allantoid, thin-walled, smooth, usually with one or two prominent guttules, hyaline.
